MapComponents
The modular system for map applications

modular. flexible. fast.

MapComponents is an open-source framework used for creating geo-IT applications. Boasting a catalogue of proven components, it offers a much more accurate means to estimating resource requirements and ensures a faster project start especially when compared to "greenfield" development. Well-matched components help you achieve your goal faster, and the high degree of customizability offers you the capability to implement even the most exotic requirements.

By clearly focussing on current technologies such as Vector Tiles, MapLibre, React, Docker, the integrated MapComponents applications are sustainable and future-proof.

MapComponents is not just software - MapComponents is a solution approach.

MapComponents
Functions

Utilising MapLibre-gl as the primary map engine, projects can be adapted to a variety of different requirements: these could range from simple, self-contained applications running entirely in the browser right up to client applications that are integrated into complex service-based architectures. MapLibre comes into its own in the areas of interaction and performance.

The core and catalogue components utilised in MapComponents all fall under the MIT license. This permissive open-source license means that you are not tied to us as the developer, and there are no licensing costs. The components developed [individually] for you and their adaptations can come under a license of your choice.
